Is AI going to take my job?!"<\/strong> This is the fear of the vast majority of professionals and workers when they hear (repeatedly) about the innovations and potential that this technology is presenting. Writing texts and articles, interpreting messages, creating personalized videos and images, diagnosing diseases, manual labor, education, cooking\u2026 in short, it seems that AI finds a way to handle practically everything. So, is my job \u2013 and yours \u2013 threatened by this omnipresence? Find out in our article below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artificial intelligence<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

AI has existed and its potential is well-known. But why is it only more recently that... concern about the replacement of human labor<\/strong>This has to do mainly with the advancement of technology in Generative AI<\/strong> (typical of platforms like Chat GPT, Google Gemini, among others) \u2013 an artificial intelligence capable of creating new content<\/strong> after being trained with complex patterns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This innovation greatly expanded the boundaries of AI, which until then had been limited to task automation. Upon realizing that Machines could learn human language.<\/strong>However, to interact intelligently and produce creative content, concerns have increased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI and work<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In fact, jobs will be eliminated by AI!<\/strong> According to studies by the investment bank Goldman Sachs<\/strong><\/a>, the AI could replace 300 million workers.<\/strong> in the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IMF (International Monetary Fund) goes further and guarantees that, 40% of the world's jobs will be affected by AI.<\/strong> in emerging economies (60% in advanced economies and 26% in low-income countries).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The question remains: does this mean increased unemployment? Is there anything we can do to reverse this?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experts assure that there is no way to swim against the current, nor even to close this Pandora's box. Discarding (and\/or ignoring) the technological advances brought about by AI is practically impossible. Many professions are being and will continue to be replaced by algorithms, robots, and technological solutions.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The way here is to focus on the specialization and modernization of professions<\/strong>. Viewing AI as a transformative agent<\/strong> and not a threat; understanding that it is a technology that will in fact allow... Human beings should focus on tasks that are less repetitive and mechanized, and more creative, managerial, analytical, and strategic.<\/strong>This paradigm shift is fundamental to understanding what will be considered "employment" in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professions of the Future<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, some positions and jobs will cease to exist; other positions and professions will be created.<\/strong>And this is already happening. The World Economic Forum estimates that... up to 13 million new jobs could be created.<\/strong> in Brazil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professionals who manage and monitor AI and chatbots, fraud auditors and cybersecurity specialists, renewable energy experts, data analysts, and other technology-related fields are and will be in high demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And furthermore: Skilled professionals equipped to use generative AI to their advantage, promoting productivity and consistency.<\/strong>Professionals who can provide correct, complete, and assertive guidance so that the machine produces the expected result will be increasingly valued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI and Humans<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

So, far from apocalyptic scenarios depicting the end of humanity and\/or the rebellion of the machines. All of that makes perfect sense to alarmists and Hollywood scripts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In real life, AI promises to enhance human work.<\/strong>and empower us with time, efficiency, and comfort to work and live better<\/strong>Collaboration between humans and intelligent systems is a fundamental and necessary perspective for new advancements and a future of coexistence and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
