The technological race in Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been intense in recent months, with various companies and organizations seeking to develop systems capable of creating diverse content, such as texts, images, videos, music, code, and much more. This area of AI is called Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) and represents one of the greatest challenges and advancements in current technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the pioneers in AI was OpenAI, a non-profit foundation whose mission is to ensure that AI is used for the good of humanity. OpenAI<\/a> In 2020, IAG launched ChatGPT, an AI chatbot that can converse with users and generate diverse content using a natural language model based on neural networks. ChatGPT was considered a milestone in IAG's history, as it demonstrated an impressive ability to generate coherent, creative, and personalized responses, as well as integrate with other internet services such as Wikipedia, Reddit, or Twitter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, OpenAI was not alone in the competition for IAG. Its competitors, such as Google, Amazon, and Facebook, were also working on their own generative chatbots.<\/strong>Expectations were high for what Google would present to the market in terms of AI, as Google is known for being one of the leading companies in innovation and research in the field of AI. And Google continued to compete with the others. In mid-July of this year, the company launched Google Bard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is Google Bard?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Google Bard is an artificial intelligence chatbot that allows you to converse with a generative system that can create diverse content, such as texts, images, videos, music, code, and much more. Google Bard is an experiment that aims to explore the possibilities and limitations of collaboration between humans and machines.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To use Google Bard, simply visit the website. bard.google.com<\/a> Through your computer or mobile browser, log in with a Google account. Then, simply type a command in the text box and see what the chatbot can do. For example, if you type "write a poem about love," the chatbot can generate an original poem on that theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google Bard uses advanced AI techniques, such as natural language processing, machine learning, and neural networks, to understand user intent and context and generate coherent and creative responses.<\/strong> The chatbot can also learn from previous interactions and adapt to the user's preferences and needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google Bard is still in the testing phase, with its AI being improved, so it may present errors and inaccuracies in its responses. Like ChatGPT, whose free version has information up to 2021, Google's tool is not fully up-to-date and requires further refinement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The difference with Google Bard<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the new features of Google Bard is the ability to use the chatbot to create responses from other Google services, such as Gmail, Docs, Maps, YouTube, and Google Travel. <\/strong>This feature is called Extensions and allows you to gather information from various places in one place. For example, if you type "reply to my last email with a fun image," the chatbot can access your Gmail, read your last email, and send you an image related to the subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google Bard is available in 40 languages, including Brazilian Portuguese. You can also choose from Three chatbot personalities: more creative, more balanced, or more precise.<\/strong>Each personality has a different style of communication and content creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
