Understanding API<\/strong>, therefore, becomes fundamental<\/strong>, after all they start to integrate a business's entire content strategy<\/strong>. What is an API?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Application Programming Interface, or Application Programming Interface<\/strong>. The API is a series of rules<\/strong>. In other words, a interface that mediates information<\/strong>. They allow an application to extract information from software and use that information in its own application or within its own functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

API Key<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The API key is a unique identifier assigned to an API user<\/strong>, identifying that he is authorized to use the programming interface of certain software on his website, application or system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The API key acts as an authentication token.<\/strong>, placing you as a member of a community of developers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This bridge or cross-platform connectivity has limits<\/strong>! Most APIs has usage restrictions<\/strong>. And to understand them, you need to carefully read the "API Terms of Service", which lists all the rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After all, no one wants to invest time and money in developing an asset and later notice an integration block, or worse, have access revoked after being accused of violating the terms of service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
